Bug fixes!

"We have been fixing bugs since launch!"

Hello,

Thank you all for playing the new HoloRP Open Beta. We have been told bugs and glitches reported by users and we have fixed them all. Here's a list of bugs we have fixed since launch:

  • Fixed an issue where your looks could not poof when released from prison.
  • Fixed an issue where users could escort the escorter while the escorter is escorting someone else.
  • Surrendering will now un-escort you when using the surrender command.
  • Fixed an issue where users could sometimes hit a target from far away.
  • You will not receive any messages from a corporation group chat when you're not working.
  • Knocking out players in events no longer count towards your fist kill statistic.
  • Fixed an issue where wanted and escorted criminals could sometimes not get automatically arrested when logging out.
  • Fixed an issue where users could sometimes spawn out of the map (to a coordinate that doesn't exist on the room map/model).
  • When you use the slap command to a target who's dead or jailed, it won't take off one health from them.
  • Your health and energy statistics are now replenished when winning events.
  • Re-coded the way the fighting system calculates the diagonal distances.

We have also received complaints about the lag. It is not you, it's the server and we are getting a new server. The new server will be located in France (EU), and we will be setting up a TCP proxy to balance it worldwide so there will be no lag in North America and other regions.

I look forward to all the new fixes, Yes, the lag was a problem for a quite few users. I see y'all are hard at work to fix the bugs, One thing I might add is that on bullet seven it states, " Fixed an issue where wanted and escorted criminals could sometimes not get automatically arrested when logging out."I find that this should stay, and it helps the police officer. If you're being escorted and you log out I find it's right for the system to automatically arrest you, but I could be wrong if it's talking about if you're not getting escorted and you log out then no it shouldn't, but if you're being escorted then yes it should automatically arrest you. If it automatically arrests you then, the user knows not to log out or they will get arrested. But, I understand it the other way, if the arresting officer just cuffs you and leaves you there and you log out it makes the officer job easier.
